- A girl I once knew would spot a piece of report (aided by the phone numbers of her favourite lottery composed all around it) on the bottom tray of her dog budgie's cage and decide on people numbers which had been "hit" with the hen's droppings!

* For urban folks (read: who actually uses cell phones the most), the quality improvement will not be a big draw since they already get a good signal at home typically. The only real draw to the new technology is it's promise of free unlimited calls on your cell phone when home. "Free" however has it's price, namely - $10/month if you're single, $20/month if you use more than one handset in your household. Slap another $5/month or so for USF, taxes, and other random junk fees.
Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:
Night terrors are not only dreams where you are paralyzed with fear, but are dreams where fear, upset, and anxiety are felt well into the waking state. Night terrors do not happen over night; rather they are a result of several previous dreams that have gone ignored.
Recently I came across a product called a water descaler. A water descaler is much like a typical water softener, except you don't have to use salt. Most people have an opinion of whether they like the feel or film that soft water can leave when you are showering. The best thing about water descalers (in my opinion) is that you get the results of soft water with the water actually being technically soft. So, you get no lime scale and no water scale, but you don't have to have soft water. I found that the descaler would also save me a lot of money in the long run. Appliances and house products like my fridge, ice maker, toilet, sinks, faucets, and dishwasher were going to be free of water scale as well. I also noticed there was a huge difference on my sinks and I didn't have the white film that you typically get from water scale.
Ready plans will allow for a complete lesson, not only a filler. It is always worthwhile having activities like these waiting in a folder, so that students can be learning and working in a situation where a substitute teacher needs a lesson or if a quick change of plan is called for.
